Sutori
For my second blog post for the week with EME 6414 I thought I would take a look at Sutori. This is a tool used to design classroom presentations that allow for a little more interaction with the content than traditional resources such as PowerPoint or Prezi. As I have played around with it a little bit the real benefit seems to come in the ability of the creator to allow integration with Google, or Microsoft Teams. But in addition it is very easy to embed web content. Instructors can tag the content and recommend it to particular members of the class. In addition, to more traditional methods of assessment such as Quizzes.
As an example of the types of content you can embed into Sutori and the overall look, here is a screenshot:
When looking at these different tools I try to think about how I could integrate them into some of the current work that I am doing or potentially replace the current tools that I am using. Through my work at FSU I find it hard to think of many scenarios in which it would benefit to use Sutori over something like Canvas, especially once you take full advantage of other built in features to Canvas. Unfortunately, there is the ability to integrate Sutori pages and assignments into Canvas, along with a host of other external tools, yet this requires administrative access and is above my level. Thus, for me it doesn't seem likely that I would find things that I could do in Sutori that I can't do in Canvas or with some other add-on to Canvas.
One downside of using Canvas, however, is the log in requirements that are needed for access and are reserved for FSU students. As my office continues to find ways to serve the wider community, which is a part of our mission, it may be helpful to utilize tools such as this one to provide content to community members or to alumni who do not have ready access to the virtual resources we have shared on Canvas.

Hi, thanks for for sharing this tool Sutori, I just played around with it and thought that its really awesome and am already thinking about how I can possibly include it into my line of work.
